Independent Living 

The Village includes one and two bedroom units and two bedroom units with Study.

 

Each unit is fitted with quality carpets, window coverings, light fittings, modern kitchens and built-in wardrobes. Residents provide their own furniture, linen and personal items.

Service Fees

​

The monthly service fee is dependent upon the type of unit. Information is available on application.

 

 

Included in the monthly service fee:

​

  • Shire and water rates (up to pensioner concession rate)

  • Building insurance on units (Residents responsibility for contents insurance

  • Use of all Village amenities

  • All maintenance inside and outside units (except for Resident's additions & alterations or damage caused by residents outside of normal wear & tare)

  • 24 hour emergency call system including personal pendant plus onsite staff 

  • Administration costs

  • Lighting of public areas

  • Lawn mowing and gardening of public areas

The service fee is based on the outgoings and running costs of the Village and is adjusted annually in accordance with the provisions of the Retirement Villages Act 1986 (as amended).

What is not included in the monthly service fee?

​

  • Gas, electricity and telephone costs

  • Insurance on your personal contents

  • Balance of municipal and water rates if you are not a pensioner

​
